Discusses a variety of topics to learn from each other, practice opening our minds to new perspectives, and to create a safe community environment. Meets every Sunday at 11:45 AM in Room 304

| Beginner's Yoga |
This group meets each Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in Channing Hall. Instructor Stan Polins works with each student to determine the appropriate techniques to teach. |
| Book Discussion (Sundays) |
This group discusses books on the history and philosophy of religion, spirituality, and ethics. We generally read and discuss a book in four to five weeks. We meet each Sunday at 9:15 in Room 302. |
| Channing Concerts |
Presents
approximately four musical concerts during the year, usually by local
musicians. |
| Chalice
Circles |
Small groups
which meet on a regular basis. Focus of the groups ranges from
spirituality, nature, games, world religions, etc.

| Church Choir |
Sings most Sundays; presents two music services per year. Choir reheasal is every Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 PM followed by a social gathering. For additional information, contact Bob Fazakerly. |
| International Folk Dancing |
Dances to northern, southern and central European and Mediterranean line and circle dances; no partner needed; $4 fee. Meets Fridays at 7:30 PM. For more information contact Sue Griffin. |

Have you
felt the need to talk with other parents as you navigated your own
parenting? We are thoughtful parents who discuss various family ideas.

Meets to
discuss modern multicultural literature the last Sunday of the month at
6:00 PM with potluck dinner. Location varies. |
| Tai Chi
for Fun and Self-Defense |
Increases
balance, flexibility, strength, the immune system, and the ability to
relax and breath deeply; improves self-defense skills. Meets Saturdays,
10:15 to 11:15 AM in Channing Hall. Suggested donation is $10 for
regular students and $7 for church members (lesser donations are
accepted and the first class is free.) Yoga mats are provided by the
instructor, chiropractor Dr. Julie Byrd. |
| UU
Changing Women |
Discussion focuses on the books, Medicine Cards, and Sacred Path cards written and created by Native American author Jamie Sams. Each meeting creates sacred space, within which all things shared are held in strict confidence. Meets Sundays at 9:15 AM. |

Group |
Listens to
invited guest speakers covering various feminist topics, followed by
Q&A, discussions and usually lunch. Meets weekly 10:45-12:15 at the
church.

emotional states into total release and relaxation. Meets Saturdays
