Church Finances
If you’d like to make a donation, pay your pledge, or place an order for an event or product, you can use our Vanco Services link. Vanco processes online payments for the church from your checking, savings or credit card account.
Sharing with the Community
Half of the Sunday offering is donated to an organization that works towards our vision of social justice. We also encourage volunteer support of these partner organizations. Details and contact information for shared offering partners is available in the monthly newsletter. The church also dedicates a portion of the annual budget to local, regional, national and international groups with whom we share common goals.
Sources of Financial Support
We derive most of our annual income from pledges of support made by members and friend of the church. The remainder of our annual funding comes from rental income, gifts, fundraising, and the Sunday morning offering. Additionally, bequests and gifts to our Endowment Fund are important for the long-term financial stability of the church. For more information about the Endowment Fund, email endowment@firstuu.org.
Fundraising Activities
Amazon.com: Booklovers, when you make your purchases via our link to Amazon.com, the church earns a percentage of your purchase. This costs you no additional money and benefits the church.
Channing Book Cart: We sell a variety of inspirational books and music from our book cart on Sunday morning.
Dinner Concerts: Several times a year local performers volunteer their time and talents for entertaining evenings of music and meals.
Grocery Stores: We participate in programs with Kroger and Randall’s grocery stores.
- Kroger shares a percentage of their designated gift fund each year with the church, based on our purchases. Pick up a participation form at our information table or download the PDF form.
